“Our people like it a lot here, too. They’re always finding things to do, like going out to eat (and bring us doggie bags!), shopping, playing sports, seeing a show or a concert or taking classes. They also have lots of fun in the water: swimming, surfing, parasailing and fishing. I like the water, too (as long as I’m not getting a bath).

Well-behaved, leashed dogs are allowed to visit all Broward County Parks EXCEPT Hollywood North Beach Park (beachside) and all of the nature centers and natural areas.

• All pets must be on a leash at all times.

• Owners are responsible for cleaning up after their dogs - Pooper Scooper stations are located in all of our pet-friendly parks for the convenience of our patrons.

• Pets are permitted in all parks with the exception of nature centers and posted areas.

• Do not feed any animals in the parks. This applies to raccoons, cats, squirrels, alligators, ducks, peacocks, geese, etc.

• Dogs are not permitted on mountain bike trails and horse trails, for the safety of the intended users of those trails.

If you plan to visit a city park with your pet, check the rules of the city, as many municipalities do not allow pets in their parks.
